Chair of the Monterey Council on Aging.

Lin is the retired Deputy Commissioner of the New York City Human Resources Administration’s Adult Protective Services (APS) program with a mission to keep vulnerable adults safe in the community.

Robert Cutick, Ph.D.

Retired clinical psychologist who facilitates the ‘second hour’ support conversations for Care Partners.

Roberta R. Weiss, PT

Active Physical Therapist and Board member of the Monterey Council on Aging. Roberta facilitates the ‘second hour’ support conversations for People Living with Parkinson’s.(PLWP)

Kathryn Roberts

Outreach Coordinator of the Monterey Council on Aging. 

Kathryn provides logistical support to the Group and assists Roberta in the ‘second hour’ conversations with PLWP. She was a loving care partner for her husband Marc with Parkinson’s who is deceased.

Volunteer Coordinators

Virgil Stucker, MBA

Virgil Stucker is the current volunteer coordinator and husband of Lis, his soulmate for 50 years who is living with Parkinson’s. For 40+ years he has launched and led nonprofits: mental health communities like CooperRiis (NC), Rose Hill (MI), Gateway Homes (VA), and Gould Farm's Boston Program; innovative health improvement efforts such as the REACH Community Health Foundation; and catalytic funders including the Foundation for Excellence in Mental Health Care and Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.

Richard Pargament, Ph.D.

Richard was the group’s founding coordinator, serving for the first three years. He is a retired social psychologist and was a loving care giver for his life partner Ray with Parkinson’s who is deceased. Richard remains an active member of the group.
